Helping You Navigate Your Condition
At Innovative Hematology, our nurse practitioners (NPs) and physician assistants (PAs) have advanced experience in treating adults and children with blood disorders. Our NPs and PAs contribute to many local, national and international professional organizations and committees to advance blood disorder care.
Adult and Pediatric Nurse Practitioners
Innovative Hematology Nurse Practitioners (NPs) work closely with our physicians. The NPs, licensed medical practitioners, are responsible for taking patients’ medical histories, performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting laboratory tests, and designing and implementing treatment interventions.
Physician Assistants
Physician Assistants (PAs) are medical professionals who diagnose illness, develop and manage treatment plans, and prescribe medications. Innovative Hematology’s PAs are a talented group of individuals who play an integral role in patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment and communication.
Education and Programs
The NPs and PAs also serve as staff and community educators to clinicians, patients, and families around the world. This group also works to develop programs within Innovative Hematology related to disease management, transition of care, youth camps and retreats, as well as many other initiatives.
